Amy graduated in 2015 from Irene's Myomassology Institute in Therapeutic Massage. Since then, she has returned to Irene’s as an elective teacher in Sound Healing where she teaches her own methods of sound healing since 2018. Amy offers Reiki and Massage at The Natural Healing Center. Even though Amy has been trained in a wide range of modalities she has chosen to offer Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage and Reiki here at the center.
Amy has a background of working in the spa environment, as well as other centers offering energy work modalities. She has hosted many Reiki Shares, Group Sound Healing Events and Energy Healing Circles. Amy has enjoyed volunteering and sharing her modalities at such places as Conscious Cafe in A2, Chair Massage at U of M golf course, to playing her crystal bowls at Spiritual Centers and for various Ann Arbor events. Amy also has coordinated with yoga teachers to host events integrating sound therapies with yoga.
Amy is also a Graduate of WCC with an Associates in Applied Science (2007) and a National Dean's list Honor Student Twice Over. Amy has been part of the Phi Theta Kappa Society since 2004. She is also an Ordained Priest in the Order of Melchizedek since 2018, Trained in The Nine Rites of the Munay Ki (2016) and apprenticed under Bruce Fagan in passing the Rites to others, Amy's Reiki teachers include: Eve Wilson ( I, II 2014), Sue Hidalgo (IIIa 2015) & Bruce Fagan (Reiki Master Teacher 2018).
