Bonnie Dunkelberger: "A Healing Presence" Bonnie Dunkelberger is a 1998 graduate from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy. She is Nationally Certified (NCTMB) and has been practicing since August 1998 at the Natural Healing Center. She has completed trainings in Myofascial Release (John Barnes Method), Reflexology (Certification in 2003) under Gloria Zimet, Reiki (Usui teaching), and Craniosacral Therapy (I, II). Currently, she is a student of the Trager Approach (Milton Trager). She is trained in relaxation massage as well as deep tissue. Bonnie specializes in chronic pain relief, range of motion difficulties, stress reduction, sports injuries, and post-surgical recovery. She has worked with individuals from all different professions: accountants, hair stylists, computer programmers, librarians, car salesmen, dept. heads, educators, tennis players, golfers, homemakers, etc; often the job carries with it a certain repetitive stress pattern.

Bonnie approaches each client with a special interest in his/her particular story; she assesses the person noticing posture, walk, complaints, accidents, surgeries, diet, exercise, etc. She listens to the individual’s needs and listens to the tissue; using her knowledge and experience, she determines what the body is asking for at the present moment. Her sessions are frequently a mix of techniques to encourage the body to decompress, and to give the feeling of length, space, and lightness. Bonnie is available 7days a week, days and evenings; for appointments, please call 734-353-9601.
